Each day, in between meals and adventure activities, we will sit down together to explore various aspects of taking leaps and adapting to changes in our lives. By the end of the week, you’ll walk away with a tool kit, a “net” of your own, that you’ll create yourself, based on the topics covered throughout our group sessions.

Together, in an intimate, women-only group setting, we will identify where we each are on our paths, and which steps will lead us in the right direction individually. We will explore sources of courage, strength, balance, motivation, and momentum, using specific tools through writing, reflecting, and sharing with each other.
I will guide our group sessions each day, using lessons and practices I collected during my three-year mission to put myself back on my own two feet after uprooting my entire world and taking the biggest leap of my life.
In the midst of our inward digging, we will challenge ourselves outwardly every day with adventure activities all over the beautiful island of Elba. There will be wine, pizza, stars… and baby goats.

So you know what to expect.
Each morning, you’ll have the option to participate in sunrise yoga with Dawn (see what we did there), a brilliant certified instructor who taught her first class at this very retreat in Ecuador in 2018. After this optional class, we’ll grab our tea and coffee and briefly get together for what I call an “Intentional Morning,” which will have a different theme each day and is also optional. Then we’ll all head to breakfast.
Aside from our optional early morning activities, we will get together as a full group, get vulnerable (where the magic happens), and get into the good stuff either once or twice per day, in the morning and/or evening. In between these group sessions and meals, we will head out for different adventure activities like e-mountain biking, hiking, free diving, and more. We will also have free time each day to use the private pool or spend however you’d like at our villa with a sea view.
I have a few surprises for you throughout the week, so I don’t want to give away too much, but this is a general idea of how we will spend our time together. This all being said, I have one request: that you trust and allow me to take care of the details, so you can just show up, ready for our multi-faceted adventure.

I recommend being in good physical condition to participate in the adventure activities. We will be hiking, biking, and spending time in the water. Some general physical conditioning before this trip will help your mind and body greatly.

Weather in Tuscany in May should be fairly warm and sunny, but it’s best to be prepared for rain and cold no matter what. Bring layers for adventure activities, including a rain jacket and pants. Casual, comfortable clothing is encouraged while at the villa. Athletic clothing including close-toed shoes encouraged for adventure activities. Be sure to bring pants for horseback riding, a swimsuit for the pool and free-diving class, and pack your sunscreen, it is always more expensive overseas. Towels and linens are provided.
See this post for a detailed carry-on packing list, just remember this list is for several months, you won’t need this much! Pack light. Carry-on is encouraged, that way the airline won’t lose your bag on the way.
